Hello!
My name is Ash Suh!
I am a Korean-American animator, songwriter, and jewelry maker based in Queens, New York.

I was born in Portland, Oregon, grew up in North Carolina, and moved to NYC in 2015 to study music at NYU. I started teaching myself animation in 2020 which led to me earning a degree in Computer Arts from SVA in 2024. Currently, I work full-time at the SVA BFA 3D Animation and VFX department as a front office manager. Outside of this job, I write songs and make animated music videos for them mostly using Blender. As a self-taught Blender artist, I love sharing my knowledge with others because I feel passionately about breaking down barriers to entry in digital art-making.
My art explores human relationships, nature, and technology through humor, playful characters, and lively positivity. I am inspired by mycology, personal mythologies, and my cat Anita Tension.
